Shibari is a form of interaction between people and besides an exotic spectacle, it is a series of strange but pleasant kinesthetic sensations. Intimate is not equally depraved, but means that during the shibari ropes process, the participants in the session show emotions that are not customary to experience in public: tears, laughter and groans of pleasure.

Malte Vogl is a senior research fellow at the Max Planck Institute of Geoanthropology with a PhD in Physics. Until recently, he worked as a research fellow and PI at the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science, in projects ranging from Digital Humanities work on the ancient perception of time and space in the cluster of excellency TOPOI, building and evalutation of research data infrastructures in context of the DARIAH project, large scale analysis of archival data for the history of the MPG project GMPG to the most recent, BMBF-funded work on method development for modelling knowledge evolution as a multilayered temporal network in the ModelSEN project.

I am a cognitive and behavioural economist, heterodox economist and postdoctoral researcher at the University of CHIETI-PESCARA, Italy. Before this, I worked at Procter & Gamble.I hold a PhD in the Human Science curriculum in Economics and Statistics from the University of CHIETI-PESCARA, and an MS in management, finance and development from the University of CHIETI-PESCARA.
I am also a board member of the Society of Experimental Finance and the Italian Post-Keynesian Society.
In my spare time, I enjoy travel, reading, jogging, and coding.
