The successful candidate will assist with 1) developing and implementing agent-based simulations of interactions between humans and wildlife; 2) analyzing and visualizing simulation outputs to share with decision makers; and 3) writing scientific, peer-reviewed publications.

The applicant will also translate scenario narratives of stakeholders into model inputs. Seeking researcher with skills in agent-based modelling of agricultural systems and/or networks for a project on traders as connectors and mediators across scales. The position is part of an ERC project that combines empirical research with modelling to identify mechanisms of persistence and change in social-ecological systems. The research involves collaboration with interdisciplinary team of empirical researchers, modellers and philosophers at Stockholm Resilience Centre (www.seslink.org).
