The Intelligent Modelling and Analysis Research Group in the School of Computer Science at Nottingham University invites applications for a PhD studentship in the wider area of “Strategic Modelling and Simulation of Human-Centred Complex Systems”. In our research we develop novel tools for decision makers (e.g. managers, policy makers) to help those making better informed decisions. The research is highly interdisciplinary, utilising methods and knowledge from fields like Computer Science, Social Sciences, Psychology, Economics, Engineering, and Mathematics.

The position is open to students of any nationality, but non-UK students will require additional funding to cover tuition fees, which is awarded by the University on a competitive basis.
