TWO POST-DOCTORAL POSITIONS IN QUANTITATIVE FINANCE
Two post-doctoral positions in Quantitative Finance at the SEFEMEQ
Department - University of Rome Tor Vergata are announced.
TITLE:
Quantitative Analysis of Sustainable Investments
QUALIFICATIONS AND ASSESSMENT GROUNDS FOR
APPOINTMENT:
The candidate should have completed, or be near to complete, a PhD in
Economics, Finance, Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics, or related
fields.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The research is part of SIRP (www.sirp.se), an international project on
Sustainable Investment, whose general objective is to explore how
sustainable investment practices can create added value for institutional
investors and identify barriers to mainstreaming such practices.
The two Post Doctoral positions are expected to collaborate with the
team in the University of Rome Tor Vergata and pay short-term visits
to other institutions participating to the project.
The candidates will work, together with researchers in Tor Vergata, on
one or more of the following themes:
1. Incentive Schemes for Asset Management
2. Analysts' forecasts for Sustainable Investments
3. Agent Based Models for Sustainable Investments
The ideal candidate has a solid quantitative background, is familiar
with a programming language and with one of the following topics
1. Contract Theory and Incentives
2. Agent Based Models
3. Mathematical Finance
4. Financial Econometrics
SALARY:
Successful applicant will receive a one-year salary (renewable for one
year) in accordance with standard salary levels for equivalent positions in
Italy.
