The Sustainability, Economics and Ethics (SEE) group of the IQS School of Management (University Ramon Llull) in Barcelona is offering a 24-month contract to an early stage researcher holding a PhD in Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, Operations Research, Mathematics or other Engineering studies or in Anthoropology, Sociology or Economics. The main objective of the project is to develop simulation models to assess the impact of aporophobia (rejection of the poor) on countries’ welfare states and social variables such as poverty and inequality. The selected candidate should provide technical support to the project on modelling and simulation based on agents, design experiments, analyse simulation results and contribute to research articles.
Skills/Qualifications
o Education: PhD in Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, Operations Research, Mathematics or other Engineering studies, or a social area such as Anthropology, Sociology or Economics
Knowledge:
o Good programming skills
o Data processing and analysis
o Languages: English
