Whiteshield Partners is hiring a socio-economic modeler, who is interested in building and maintaining agent-based, micro-simulation, SD and other models, with an emphasis on social, population and economic modeling.

In This Position You Will:
o Build social, population and economic models using various techniques, with a focus on Agent-Based and micro-simulation models
o Build service products that are used for public policy making and political, geographical, and social risk prediction
o Support public policy consulting projects
o Maintain models of different techniques

Required Qualifications
o PhD in Sociology, Economics, or related field with emphasis on social modelling
o Proficiency in Python
o Experience in Experience in model building

Preferred Qualifications
o Consulting or other professional experience in Public Policy
o Strong communication skills
o Proficiency with version controlling using GIT
o Experience in model calibration / estimation
o Demographical modelling and research experience
The role is based in Dubai. The position is permanent. A 7 month Dubai 5 month work from anywhere scheme is available.
