We are looking for a data-scientist, who works with statistical methods and machine learning methods on the intersection of big data and socio-economic modeling.

In This Position You Will:
o Calibrate and estimate economic and social models
o Conduct empirical investigations using both big and small datasets
o Support the development of socio-economic models
o Support public policy consulting projects

Required Qualifications
o PhD in Statistic, Economics, or related field, with empirical and big data emphasis
o Proficiency in Python
o Experience in model calibration / estimation
o Experience in exploratory data analysis

Preferred Qualifications
o Consulting or other professional experience in Public Policy
o Strong communication skills
o Proficiency with version controlling using GIT
o Experience in organisation of large data sets

The role is based in Dubai. The position is permanent. A 7 month Dubai 5 month work from anywhere scheme is available.
