The Institute for Social-Ecological Research (ISOE, www.isoe.de) in Frankfurt/Main, Germany, offers a three year post for a senior scientist in the area of modelling social-ecological systems.

The successful candidate is expected to have strong expertise in recent modelling techniques (e.g. agent-based modelling, fuzzy logic) and should be familiar with complexity theory and theories of self-organisation. The thematic focus of the post is water research.
