Two vacancies now available for PERMANENT Faculty positions at University College Dublin School of Sociology.

In recent years, UCD School of Sociology has led the development of a range of exciting undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in the fields of computational sociology, social data analytics and computational social sciences more generally:

PhD in Complex Systems and Computational Social Science
MSc Social Data Analytics
BSc in Computational Social Science

These programmes are underpinned by an extensive and diverse range of staff specialisms that address the defining issues of the day. Teaching and research in the school generally coheres around the following themes: Social Network Analysis and Computational Sociology; Social Change; Health, Wellbeing and Society; Comparative Social Change: Crime, Violence and Conflict; Cultural Sociology; Race, Migration and Decolonial Studies

We are seeking applications from individuals who will contribute the UCD School of Sociology goals of: further developing as the Ireland’s leading centre for sociological research and enhancing our international profile in this respect; advancing the innovation and expansion of our programmes; playing a central role in enhancing UCD’s position as an internationally recognised centre for academic excellence.
