The Chair of Human-Environment Relations at the Department of Geography is recruiting a PhD Researcher in the transdisciplinary research project INOLA (Innovations for a Sustainable Land- and Energy Management on a Regional Scale) funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research. The project’s main aim is to support the transition towards a more sustainable land use- and energy system in a region south of Munich within a transdisciplinary framework.

The Chair of Human-Environment Relations at the Department of Geography, University of Munich, has an inter- and transdisciplinary orientation and studies the question of transition towards sustainability. We offer an interesting and stimulating research environment at a well-established university in a highly dynamic group. The appointee will have various personal development and skill training opportunities.
The LMU Department of Geography Campus is in central Munich with excellent public transport connections. The initial appointment will be for one year with a potential extension for duration up to three and a half years. Women are especially encouraged to apply.
