The Master Thesis focuses on the transitions between the different regimes with respect to their impact on the management of forest. The specific aim is to build a simple spatially explicit Multi-Agent System that nevertheless covers the main aspects and can show the dynamics in the region.
Background is a cooperation between NSSI at ETH Zurich and the Professorship of Ecological Services (PES) at University of Bayreuth.
