By taking part in this course, you will gain a modelling culture and learn the different skills required for building agent-based models (ABMs) applied to sociological, ecological, or socio-ecological systems. MISS-ABMS promotes a collaborative practice of modelling and simulation, is multi-platform (NetLogo, GAMA and Cormas), presents the different stages of an ABM process, with a focus on model design and implementation, offers a significant time for group work to design and implement an ABM

The Summer Visiting Scholar Program is open to graduate students interested in spending up to 6 weeks at the CSDMS Integration Facility at the University of Colorado, Boulder. Selected students will be working on their own research and will benefit from mentoring with the CSDMS Research Software Engineers and faculty/staff.

The 17th International Conference on Social Computing, Behavioral-Cultural Modeling, & Prediction and Behavior Representation in Modeling and Simulation will be held on September 18-20, 2024. Submissions for paper are due 21st July 2024.

The US-RSE‘23 Conference is offering tutorials virtual and free to attend regardless of attendance at the conference.
