Wehia-PhD School 2017 on Agent-based Macroeconomics

To continue the successful tradition of PhD Schools organized around the yearly Wehia conferences, the Wehia-PhD School 2017 will be organized in Genoa from June 15th to 17th, just after the conclusion of the Wehia conference in Milan to easy the participation of young scholars to both events.
The focus of the Wehia-PhD School 2017 will be on Agent-based Macroeconomics, with the purpose to provide the relevant conceptual framework for the development of large-scale agent-based macro-model about the following topics:
• Credit-driven business cycles
• Stock-flow consistent modelling
• Sustainability transition
• Estimation of agent-based models
• Policy design and validation
Students will also participate at a policy design contest using the macroeconomic model and simulator EURACE.

How to apply
Applicants should send via email to [email protected] an updated CV and a motivation letter (max 2 pages) including a research project outline. The number of participants at the School is limited to provide a collaborative and interactive educational environment. Applicants will be selected on the basis of motivation and interest in the field.
Participation fee is set to 100 Euro to contribute to the expenses for lunches and coffee breaks.
