Social Simulation for the Energy Transition

hosted by the Wuppertal Institut and taking place in Wuppertal at 5th and 6th September 2016.

The workshop shall bring together experts with a deep understanding of the energy system with such having a dedicated transitions perspective and social simulation experts to identify and discuss future opportunities for social simulation to contribute to understanding and steering the energy transition.

We invite you, the simulation experts, to take this workshop as an opportunity to strengthen the societal transitions and energy related branches of ESSA through establishing network contacts and working collaborations with energy and transitions experts, and the identification of promising topics for future work.
