Integrated, gendered Systems Modelling Research Approach to Dryland Systems: From Concepts to Practices and Implementation


Basic information
Some seats will be available for external participants (who are not the members of the CGIAR Research Program in Dryland Systems).
External participants will not need to satisfy criteria 2-4 (see the first page of the course agenda), and are expected to pay for their accommodation (826 USD), lunches and coffees (450 USD) and their travel only.
The course will offer learning materials and not charge any participation fee. See additional information in the PDF.

Participants
Researchers from partner CGIAR Centres and NARS who are satisfying the following criteria:

  1. Holding an adequate interdisciplinary background to ensure effective participation,
  2. Doing integrated systems research in DS actions sites as supported by the DS Plan of Work
  3. Having sufficient allocated time and budget for follow-up implementation2
  4. Having background data (preferable socio-ecological dataset ) from any agricultural livelihood system for pilot implementation during the course and follow-up.
