CA-MRSA Demonstration Model (1.0.0)
The University of Chicago and Argonne National Laboratory, in collaboration with Santa Fe Institute’s Project GUTS (“Growing Up Thinking Scientifically”), designed, developed, and field-tested a curriculum and interactive learning experience to teach students the essential elements of infectious disease transmission (available at http://nih-midasedu.santafe.edu). This is the Repast Simphony statecharts-based model of CA-MRSA that was developed as part of the curriculum. The model demonstrates the benefits of coupling state-based logic with the simplicity of Repast Simphony ReLogo.
